My name is Layla - and I am one lovely, lovely senior girl! But, I'm super sad right now... I need a new loving forever home. My old home was fantastic and I was loved very much, but my owner suddenly found out she was very ill and could no longer care for me. Because I've been around the block once or twice I'm really well behaved and I even get along with cats! I pretty much go with the flow - but I really need a family to love and that will love me. New family.... are you out there?? I do have special needs in that I am incontinent. So far, the tests have not found a physical cause and none of the medications have worked, so my wonderful foster mum continues to work to try to resolve... On the bright side, I've started doing barn hunts and I even won ribbons - so fun! If you can get past my incontinence I am a fabulous girl!!! Please Note: Applications are considered on an individual basis, and fencing is preferable. All adoptive homes must be within a reasonable distance from a DRAW volunteer for home visits and follow up care. A home visit, reference check and vet check must be completed prior to adoption. Please note that we will not place rescue dogs in homes with small children under the age of eight, nor adopt to individuals convicted of animal abuse, child abuse, any type of felony or that have had extensive involvement with law enforcement.
