**At this time we are requiring a home with a yard and at least a four to six foot fence for Hank to succeed.  Since he was found as stray, his history with kids is unknown, we would require a home with older considerate kids and no cats, as he's been cat tested and does not like them**

 

Handsome Hank is a Doberman mix who is about 4 years old. He never had his ears cropped, so he has his natural soft, floppy ears that give him quite the charming air. Hank was found as a stray in Juneau county and never reclaimed and moved from a shelter to our rescue, so now he is on the lookout for the perfect family to call his own. This outgoing boy has all the typical Doberman traits - intelligent, inquisitive, and very athletic. He's going to need someone willing to give him the exercise he craves and who is capable of handling a very strong guy with lots of enthusiasm.  His leash manners are not the greatest, as he is quite the puller. His size and energy level might be too much for a very small or senior dog though. Unfortunately Hank did *not* do well on his cat test, so for everyone's safety he absolutely can't be anywhere near cats. He does love to explore and is a curious guy who wants to investigate everything around him.  Friendly, goofy and always ready for an adventure, Hank is so hoping for an active family who will appreciate what a wonderful boy he is.
