This little sweetie just came into foster - believe it or not she was abandoned. She was diagnosed with demodectic mange when she was dumped, and she is almost done with her treatments. Demodectic mange is NOT contagious and cannot be transferred to humans or other animals (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demodicosis). She has almost fully recovered at this time. As any six month Dobe, she is curious and learning quickly. She has tons of potential, and all the makings of a wonderful family member. As any pup, she is in need of guidance and training. She is shy, but coming out of her shell.
Please Note: Applications are considered on an individual basis, and fencing is preferable. All adoptive homes must be within a reasonable distance from a DRAW volunteer for home visits and follow up care. A home visit, reference check and vet check must be completed prior to adoption.
