Hello, my name is Xena! I just arrived at my foster home and I'm having a blast! I play hard to get and I can be protective of my stuff initially, but when I warm up to you I'll be your best friend. I'm a fast learner, and need an owner that understands the Doberman breed and will continue to help with my socialization and training. So far I'm learning how to sit, stay, down and shake! My Foster Mum is a great teacher! The first time I walked on a leash I pulled a lot, but I'm also learning how to walk nicely. As my Foster Mum gets to know me she says I am a very nice girl. I think I like cats, but I'm not totally sure yet as they don't want to play with me. Stay tuned for more information about me and watch the videos of me playing and being silly in my water bowl!

Please Note: Applications are considered on an individual basis, and fencing is preferable. All adoptive homes must be within a reasonable distance from a DRAW volunteer for home visits and follow up care. A home visit, reference check and vet check must be completed prior to adoption.
